We offer verification services to validate the compliance of your equipment as part of your preventive maintenance programme and when you commission new equipment.

Measuring equipment is calibrated and validated in approved metrology centres. Calibration certificates can be provided with the inspection reports.

When verification is complete, we provide you with a report containing the results and assessing compliance with the prevailing standards.

The report is sent by email and a sticker stating the date and compliant status and is affixed to the device concerned. Reports may be sent by surface mail on request.

Verification of BSCs and laminar flow hoods performed as per EN 12469 and ISO 14644-1

  • Filter integrity (Type I and II BSCs & LFH): Emery, DEHS and DOP tests.
  • Measurement of particulate class within the workspace (Type II BSC a LFH), performed with a particle counter.
  • Airflow velocity mapping (Type I and II BSCs & LFH), performed with a hot wire anemometer.
  • Measurement of exhaust velocities (Type II BSC), performed with a hot wire anemometer.
  • Calculation of airflow and renewal rates.
  • Visualisation of the direction of flow and absence of disturbances and dead zones (Type I and II BSCs & LFH), using a smoke test.
  • Verification of audio and visual alarms.

Verification of fume hoods as per NFX 15-211

  • Verification of the suitability of the device in good working order for its environment.
  • Visual inspection of the general condition of the device (hinges, acrylic screens, prefilter).
  • Observation of the airflow aeraulics within the workspace.
  • Verification of molecular filter saturation using the PID system or colour-coded tubes.
  • Cold-smoke test to ensure the absence of air leaks from the workspace to the exterior.
  • Frontal air velocity measurements.

Verification of fume cabinets installed before 2005 as per XP X 15-203

  • Verification of the suitability of the device in good working order for its use.
  • Visual inspection of the condition of the device.
  • Verification of safety parameters.
  • Verification of front intake and mapping of velocities.
  • Visualisation of the direction of flow and absence of disturbances and dead zones.

Verification of fume cabinets installed after 2005 as per EN14-175 and NFX 15-206

  • Verification of the suitability of the device in good working order for its use.
  • Visual inspection of the condition of the device.
  • Verification of safety parameters.
  • Verification of front intake and mapping of velocities.
  • Verification of airflow velocity in the room.
  • Visualisation of the airflow.
