BSC TYPE II B: CSC-N TechGen

Principle

The CSC-N TechGen is a Type II B biosafety cabinet. It has two self-regulating fans to ensure a constant recycled air / extracted air ratio and three filters (H14 HEPA filter or carbon filter for recovery under the work surface, H14 HEPA filter for air circulated into the workspace and H14 HEPA filter for extraction to the exterior).

100% of air is recovered under the work surface, then 70% is recycled through the main filter and 30% is discharged through the extraction filter.

The filtration system maintains a protective barrier at a minimum velocity of 0.4 m/s and a Class ISO 3 workspace according to NF ISO 44201.
